Who We Are
Rocket Factory was created after I sold my share of a Perth based accounting practice I was a partner in. After some deep thinking, I realised that I didn’t want the kind of pressure in my life that is involved with running a medium sized accounting firm, and during the exiting process I reflected on which parts of my role I enjoyed the most and where I was making the most impact with my clients.
I made the decision to create a business where I worked with a select group of passionate entrepreneurs to help them create the business of their dreams, a business purposefully designed.
By asking questions of business owners, I aim to understand their drive and reasons for being in business. Do you want to work in you business day to day? Can you bring on a general manager and concentrate on growing the business? Is expansion the right direction for you and can you afford it? Can we automate portions of what you do so your workload is only 2 hours per day? It is these questions that need to be asked to understand your drive and purpose.
Yes, we do produce financial statements and tax returns for our clients at the end of the year, but that is just an outcome of the process, not the focus. The focus is on having deep conversations with business owners and identifying the goals you have.
Did your business start due to growing demand? Are you working flat out to stay afloat? Are your margins too small?
I hope to tell you all the answers to these questions and more, help you identify bottlenecks and pitfalls for your business and work with you to eliminate them. Once we have accomplished that, we will move on to structuring your business to reflect your mission, be it expansion, automation, or whatever aligns with your goals.
